To date, using this program, GMMI has provided more
than $320,000 worth of medications to more
than 1,000 people at many mission sites.
Our related cost was less than $7,000.
GMMI sends medicine, medical supplies, vitamins, and food, all free of charge, to needy people in remote areas of impoverished countries.
GMMI also provides medicine and medical supplies, at no cost, to medical mission teams traveling to impoverished countries.
These medical mission teams, with the aid of GMMI, provide medical services to those in need. By establishing partnership with overseas mission centers and other charity organizations, we are better able to provide assistance with free food, supplies, and education to needy people. In addition, GMMI mobilizes short term mission groups to support these overseas mission centers.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of pounds of high-quality prescription drugs go completely unused and destroyed in USA.
But with our Medicine Donation Program, our goal is to obtain quality medications as donations or at deep discount and take care of transportation and distribution to where it's needed most.
As an example, we can purchase antibiotics as low as $20 a bottle for 500 capsules of Amoxicillin 500mg. These products have an expiration date for 1-2 years. One bulk bottle can treat about 10 to 20 people!
Many times these medications can save the body parts. Some people decide to remove the infected body parts rather than
treating with the medications because of cost or lack of availability.
One of the places your donations go is to raise the money to purchase these valuable medications. We then provide these medications to needy people.
Some of the medications are very expensive. Bottles may cost over $1,000 each! We are sometimes able to get these medications as donations.
GMMI people are experienced in picking the right products, that will be useful in treating sick people in impoverished countries. With our professional team of doctors, pharmacists, and nurses, we are able to select and provide a variety of medications with very little money.
To date, GMMI has provided over $320,000 worth of medications to many mission sites. Our related cost was less than $7,000.
GMMI is capable to make availability of medicines and medical services at very low cost. Over one thousand people have benefited from our program!
Many patients in impoverished countries suffer from malnutrition but many medications need to be taken with food.
The popular pain killers (Motrin, Advil, Ibuprofen, Naprosyn, etc.)
should be taken with food.
So in addition to medication, we also need to provide the food to the patients. It's most cost-effective to purchase the food locally as the delivery charge would be much higher than the cost of food.
This is another place your generous donations go...
There are also many hospitals and clinics sponsored by international charity organizations.
Many people get free medical services from these clinics. Often times these clinics run out of their supplies due to huge demand.
There are long lines of patients waiting for their turn. Many churches in USA send out short term medical mission teams to impoverished countries every year.
GMMI works to provide medications to these short term medical mission teams.
They provide medical services at the hospitals and clinics. They also provide medical services in the villages.
ALL of this important work is funded by your generous donations.
